» About Nabarralde

In facing the loss of our historical memory--fostered and utilized by the conqueror--and in order to recover it, we must learn what has happened that we find ourselves in the present situation.

Our political history, as journalist Iñaki Petxarroman points out, is "the magic box" that offers us the way to recover the sovereignty that was taken from us.

The social recovery of our political condition as citizens of the State of Navarre is our most important democratic right, essential for exercising all other rights; including our individual and collective presence in the world's cultural, linguistic and economic landscape.

All knowledge requires diffusion in order to become a dialectical reference and argument. This is why we created Nabarralde: the management of communication for the widest diffusion of the culture, history and everything that has its origin in or directly influences the society in which we live.

We are convinced of the necessity to have Nabarralde, an instrument that has the support of very diverse people in academia, the business and the professional worlds.

Our publications focus on diverse matters related to our cultural, juridical and political identity. We publish a monthly magazine, HARIA, that aims to bring together all the people who share our concerns for the future of Nabarra--the whole Nabarra.

Our history is much more than a chronology of events. We don't believe that the destiny of our political community, as a subject of international law, had other options than merely to disappear. And what is most important: we are convinced, as a new century just begins, the desire to recover our usurped sovereignty is truly shared by the majority of the citizens of Nabarra--the whole Nabarra.
